
Dale is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate who specializes in treating survivors of complex traumas such as PTSD, mood and anxiety disorders, personality disorders, and dissociative disorders including Dissociative Identity Disorder.
Certified in the Ross Trauma Model, Dale is currently working at the Ross Institute for Trauma at UBH Denton as a Trauma Program Therapist.
Dale incorporates a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy approach when working with his clients, which supports them in identifying unhealthy thinking patterns while teaching and equipping them with the skills to disrupt the negative thought cycle.
Dale also integrates Solution-Focused and Strength-based approaches to engage clients in better understanding their individual needs and goals; to empower clients to identify their core strengths; and to encourage clients to utilize those core strengths toward their healing process.
Dale is a former Naval Officer with over 30 years of military service and also received his Master of Arts in Biblical Counseling at Dallas Theological Seminary.
In his free time, Dale enjoys spending time with his family, international travel, swimming, scuba diving, and gardening.
